Combination bookings, sequence of room types

New in MyTourist, easily change the order of room types and photos in your impression albums. Combine bookings into a central reservation and more improvements!

Customer feedback is golden! Therefore, this update was focused on processing a large number of improvements suggested by you. Additionally, we fixed a number of so-called bugs!

• Order of room types - From now on, you can sort room types by preference from your settings page. This sorting will be applied throughout the system, such as on your website/booking engine and the calendar.
• Order of room type images - You can now also adjust the order of images within your room type. The option to choose a main photo remains.
• Order of media on your website - The impressive photos in the photo album on your website can now also be arranged according to your preference.
• Bookings - Linking - It is now possible to create combination bookings. Bookings (even over different periods) can be merged or later uncoupled. Handy if, for example, a (business) stay returns within a short period, and you want to create a collective invoice or when multiple rooms are booked simultaneously by the same guest.
• Bookings - extra room - Easily add an extra room from a booking, the system recognizes this as a combination booking.
• Bookings - status - Optional bookings (reservations) in the system will reduce the number of available rooms. Sometimes this was unclear, and for this reason, we have added an extra information field.
• Booking / Invoice - When changing a booking, the accommodation price may change. For example, when changing the number of persons, the stay period, or adding an extra room. It is not always desirable (think of a free room upgrade) to automatically recalculate the accommodation price. This was already a separate action, visible on the invoice. We have now also displayed a message on the booking page when the price may deviate and can be recalculated.
• Changing booking status - When changing the status of a main booking, the status of bookings in the same combination booking was not automatically changed before. From now on, when a status change occurs in a combination booking, the status of all linked bookings will be adjusted.
• Website/Booking engine - Number of guests - This concerns the checkout page of the booking engine (the last page in the booking process, where the guest enters their address details). The number of persons was set to default 1 so that the guest could select the number of persons. From now on, the maximum number of persons - as defined in the respective price profile - will be automatically selected.
• Website/Booking engine - Tourist tax - The checkout page of the booking engine no longer shows tourist tax information when this is not applicable.
• Website/Booking engine - Start again - A potential guest can choose to start booking again during the checkout process. Occasionally, this button did not work.
• Website/Booking engine - Favicon - The default favicon, generated in your own house style color and based on your hotel name, can now be overwritten? This can be done starting now in house style management.
• Booking.com - The total number of guests was incorrectly transferred from Booking.com. This has been resolved.
• Booking.com - Previously, only first and last names were imported from Booking.com. From now on, all fields are transferred and added to the debtor's data.
• Invoices - Manual - The warning pop-up contained an incorrect link, this has been fixed.
• Interface - New booking - The button to create a booking was sometimes not clear enough, it has therefore received a more prominent position.
• Price profiles - Max. stay - This could not be longer than 127 days. This is now unlimited.
• Room types & Rooms - Extra types added Campsite and Beach cabin for camping owners.
• Booking calendar - In short-stay bookings, the name was not prominent enough, the booking number in the information pop-up has given way to the name of the booker for better and faster navigation.
• Invoices - Sending error - Sending an invoice was not possible when no email template had been created for it. From now on you can also send blank email messages without an active email template.
