Update October 24, 2019 - Mailcenter and various improvements

MyTourist innovates every day! This update launches the Mailcenter and further improvements.

A new update full of improvements marks the release of the MyTourist Mailcenter. In this article, we delve into the innovations of this update.

Mailcenter

New feature within MyTourist. Automate your emails to your guests. These emails can be filled with your own texts. The languages that you do not fill in yourself will again be automatically translated by Google Translate. You can use so-called tags that are replaced by the appropriate information in the email, such as the booking number, arrival date, guest's name, etc. The emails can be activated for various events, for example, with a new incoming booking or five days before arrival.

Three new pages on the MyTourist website. From now on, stay updated with all developments and updates within the hotel industry and the MyTourist hotel software.

A brief summary of further improvements, bug fixes, and new possibilities.

• Guests - Archiving turned out to be an unclear term, we have now renamed it to removal.
• Guests - At the top, you now see an overview of guests currently staying in your accommodations.
• Booking calendar - For new customers, only the filter buttons were visible, as no room types and rooms had been created yet. We now refer to the settings page with a handy information screen. There, the necessary settings can be provided.
• Message Center - New filtering capability for incoming and outgoing messages due to the new Mailcenter. Received messages within MyTourist are now sent as a copy (when set) to your mailbox.
• Interface - The chat has been optimized and sometimes caused some delays in the background; we have solved this.
• Bookings - The imported total price of bookings from Booking.com was sometimes incorrect. We have resolved this. Past bookings will (if applicable) need to be updated themselves.
• Booking calendar - List view of reservations in the current month or the PDF with all future bookings now have a total at the bottom in gross and net total after deducting commission price.
