New update with improvements to hotel websites and booking display

When it comes to saving one single mouse click and the convenience that comes with that, we spring into action. Update 13.6 includes two major changes and a selection of further improvements suggested by users.

Hotel websites: tighter and better datepicker

The selection of a period for a stay has been further simplified. On your hotel website, it is now even faster to search for available dates.

In addition to this improvement, several new possibilities have emerged for offering additional purchases/products when booking a stay. A real-time price calculation replaces the old price indication. The styling has also received an update for even more tranquility and overview.

Booking management, more overview

A booking consisting of multiple rooms can now be managed from a central overview instead of one page per room. A direct price calculation is also shown, and the calculated tourist tax is visible. You can also see any outstanding or processed payments. All information about your booking and guest is available at a glance.

What else has changed?

In addition to the above highlights and some bug fixes, we have added the following improvements to update 13.6:

1. A separate page has been created in settings for tourist tax. Tourist tax can now be entered once per age category. This will then be calculated for all new bookings based on the age of your guests on the day of arrival. These will be calculated based on the provided birth dates during booking.
2. A renewed datepicker, identical to the datepicker on the website, has also been implemented in the MyTourist backend. The previous one did not always work perfectly in some browsers.
3. From the real-time chat, you can now easily send a print screen or other file to a MyTourist support staff member. Your question about the software can now be explained even faster and easier.
4. Products can be forcibly added to every booking. Think of end cleaning or bed linen.
